Job description

Our Bathgate location in Scotland, UK is an integral part of Catalent's European clinical supply services network. The facility has a comprehensive range of capabilities to support sponsors' studies throughout the UK, Europe and beyond, including clinical supply management, FastChain demand-led supply, clinical-scale commercial packaging, and QP release services.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Administrator to join our Project Management team, focusing on the financial aspects of the client projects within Clinical Supply Services. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate forecasting, billing, and financial reporting, while supporting cross-functional teams and driving continuous improvement.

The Role:

  • Lead the implementation and ongoing refinement of project forecasting and billing processes.
  • Track billing milestones, assess accruals, and liaise with Finance to ensure timely reporting and resolution.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to forecast planned, won, and potential opportunities, ensuring revenue accuracy.
  • Provide monthly reconciliation of forecast vs actuals and report findings to senior management.
  • Support client account management, including aged debt reduction and credit coordination.
  • Monitor and validate recorded hours via Toggl, ensuring accurate billing of project management fees.
  • Maintain and update internal systems and reports related to clients, studies, and invoices.
  • Assist in data analysis and departmental training as needed.
