Job description
The University of Warwick is seeking a Web Product Owner to lead the delivery of our web product vision. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our digital presence. Acting as the key link between business stakeholders, development teams, and end-users, you will define and deliver a product vision that transforms how audiences interact with our websites.
Please note the role is fixed term until end of July 2027
This is a strategic and hands-on role where you will:

Own the product roadmap - aligning it with the University's objectives and KPIs to deliver measurable impact.

Champion user experience - using data insights, feedback, and testing to continuously refine and optimise website functionality.

Prioritise and manage the backlog - ensuring features, fixes, and improvements are clearly defined and delivered in line with business goals.

Collaborate across teams - working closely with SEO, UX, marketing, and development to create a seamless, high-performing digital experience.

Drive innovation - introducing new tools, processes, and enhancements that keep our web platforms competitive and user-centric.
You'll be at the heart of a dynamic, agile environment, influencing decisions and ensuring that every digital interaction reflects the University's brand, values, and strategic ambitions.
What we're looking for:

Degree in Digital Media, UX Design, Marketing, or related field.

Proven experience as a Product Owner, ideally with DXP solutions (CMS/CMP/DAM).

Strong understanding of agile methodologies and backlog management.

Technical knowledge of web technologies and development processes.

Ability to make data-driven decisions using analytics and SEO insights.
