Reporting into the Head of Platform Engineering, you'll be responsible for providing technical security guidance to drive our platform security through adoption and implementation of Cloud security solutions and practices, working closely with our Cyber Security operational teams.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. What you'll be doing:
- Primary focus to create strong governance for security baselines, tracking design and enforcing alignment with policy and process through the adoption of Azure, continually evolving the maturity and success
- Providing consultancy to development teams across on-premise and cloud environments on technical security and compliance, architectural mentorship and assessments, POCS using Azure PaaS and other services
- Leading and validating the design and development of secure standards to support application and infrastructure components, both internal and external facing, with a strong focus on auditable compliance
- Creating innovative approaches to analysis, design, consultancy for securing cloud practices
- Ensuring solutions are developed in line with strategic target architecture both from an application design and Infrastructure/platform perspective
- Partnering with other solution architects and global product management to define standardized solution and services baselines to meet strict security targets
Requirements
- Extensive coding experience with one or more Cloud technologies
- Strong experience writing Azure cloud design and enablement patterns
- Passion for development best practices with a good understanding of Azure best practice design principles
- Strong expertise with Azure security models and enterprise integration patterns
- Hands on experience of coding for Infrastructure across IaaS/PaaS/SaaS
- Ability to mentor juniors and peers
- Knowledge of current and emerging technologies and trends in the Azure space
- Good stakeholder management
- Certified AZ-500 Azure Security Expert / SC-100 Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Certified AZ-305 Azure Solution Architect Expert or Certified Cloud Security Professional desirable
