We are looking for an experienced Senior UI Developer on a contract basis (Hybrid, London) having a strong focus on performance and scalability. The role involves analysing and optimising an existing Angular v20 application handling high data and user volumes. You will identify performance bottlenecks, improve front-end architecture, and implement best practices. This role requires deep expertise in Angular, RxJS, and lazy loading.

• 8+ years of front-end development experience with strong Angular expertise
• Hands-on experience with Angular v20 in large, complex applications
• Proven ability to optimise high-performance, high-volume front ends
• Analyse existing code to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
• Strong understanding of Angular change detection and optimisation strategies
• Advanced knowledge of RxJS for efficient state and data flow management
• Expertise in lazy loading, code splitting, and modular architecture
• Ability to troubleshoot rendering, memory, and runtime performance issues
• Excellent communication skills with confidence engaging technical stakeholders
• Experience using performance profiling and debugging tools (e.g. Chrome DevTools)
