Job description

As a Senior SAP Developer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll be at the heart of our digital transformation, helping to deliver innovative SAP solutions that support critical operations across defence, aerospace and engineering. You'll be part of a collaborative team that's driving continuous improvement and ensuring our SAP estate delivers real business value.

Day-to-day, you'll be:

  • Delivering specialist-level development, configuration and functional support for SAP solutions to agreed SLAs
  • Creating and implementing SAP solutions for projects using established standards and governance
  • Ensuring development work is completed, tested and documented to a high standard
  • Updating technical documentation for each task processed
  • Identifying and suggesting emerging standards and best practices for SAP services

This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with occasional travel.

Requirements

  • Strong SAP background in implementation and support.
  • Demonstrable and strong knowledge of OData, CDS, ABAP, WebDynPro, Workflow, Fiori and UI5.
  • Highly beneficial to have experience of working with S/4 Hanna and BTP.
  • Broader knowledge of SAP functional areas such as FI, HCM, SCM, PM, PP, PS, MM, IM and WM.
  • Experience designing business process diagrams and data flows within relevant written documentation., * We value difference and don't have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience then we would like to hear from you., The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
