Position SummaryThe IT Director of Applications will manage the strategy, delivery, and operations for most of the enterprise and many customer-facing applications across the regional Business Units of Light & Wonder: Gaming, iGaming, SciPlay, and Corporate. This role ensures platforms are secure, reliable, scalable, and aligned with business growth while partnering with business-unit leadership and teams to drive innovation in applications management, integrations, and automation in both corporate and cloud environments.
The incumbent will work collaboratively with Light & Wonder's IT Leadership to assess the organization's current and future needs, while working with peers and influencing leadership decision-making to devise strategic initiatives and objectives. This includes the assessment of operating environments, their contingency, and efficacy to ensure high delivery and availability standards are met. Working collaboratively with global IT Leadership, the director will identify opportunities to enhance and expand IT infrastructure support services to meet the ever-changing needs of Light & Wonder.
The incumbent requires good business acumen and comfort in communicating with business leads and executives in the Light & Wonder BUs as well as other key stakeholder groups. The ability to straddle the various locations, cultures, and service environments to provide consistent delivery of IT service is critical.
ProfileSeasoned IT leader with 10 years of expertise in managing enterprise application environments, cloud platforms, IAM (particularly OKTA), Atlassian administration, and application and third-party integrations. Strong communicator and tactician with a proven track record of managing reliable application operations across complex multi-site business environments.

Application Strategic Leadership: Define and deliver the regional application roadmap with partnership and alignment to corporate and business-unit objectives.
Enterprise Applications & Integrations: Manage the enterprise application ecosystems and key business-unit application platforms and environments.
Identity & Access Management: Oversee OKTA administration and complex integrations across 50 corporate and customer platforms.
Automation & AI: Advance workflow automation, ScriptRunner solutions, and AI-enabled productivity initiatives.
Cloud & Infrastructure: Regional leadership of AWS and Azure management with a strong focus on scalability, security, and disaster recovery.
Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to security, regulatory, and audit requirements in collaboration with InfoSec, Legal, and Compliance.

Requirements
STEM graduate or equivalent technical skillset and career experience.
Proven track record (10 years) in IT leadership with expertise in Enterprise Application Management, System Support, Integrations, and Deployments.
Deep hands-on knowledge of OKTA administration, Auth0 AD, and M365 tenant operations and management.
Experience with Atlassian ecosystem administration.
Expertise in RPA and process engineering (e.g., ScriptRunner).
Expertise in managing cloud environments and CSPs (e.g., AWS, Azure), data/BI applications (e.g., Tableau, Cognos, Databricks), and automation frameworks (e.g., Nintex, ScriptRunner, MS Forms, PowerShell).
Experience with enterprise collaboration platforms (e.g., Slack, Teams, Google).
