Job description
We are looking for a proactive and analytical Finance Manager for our Group Financial Planning and Analysis team, responsible for driving the organisation's financial planning, performance measurement, and insightful decision-making capabilities.
Responsibilities
Budgeting and Forecasting

Lead the annual budgeting process for the Group, ensuring financial plans are robust, challenging, and strategically aligned with Morrisons' broader commercial objectives.

Manage our reforecasting cycle, incorporating market trends, operational changes, and latest performance data to provide an accurate, forward-looking view of the P&L
Performance Analysis
- Oversee the production and distribution of the Group's financial performance, including weekly performance updates and periodic management accounts
- Translate complex financial data into clear, concise, and actionable commercial insights for senior management and non-finance stakeholders.
Business Partnering
- Act as the primary financial business partner to senior finance leaders providing support and guidance on business initiatives and performance
- Proactively challenge commercial and operational assumptions to ensure decisions align with the Group's objectives
Continuous Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, leveraging financial systems and reporting tools to enhance efficiency, automate manual tasks, and improve data integrity.
