Data Analyst Course Programme

We are looking for a proactive and analytical Finance Manager for our Group Financial Planning and Analysis team, responsible for driving the organisation's financial planning, performance measurement, and insightful decision-making capabilities.

Responsibilities

Budgeting and Forecasting

• Lead the annual budgeting process for the Group, ensuring financial plans are robust, challenging, and strategically aligned with Morrisons' broader commercial objectives.

• Manage our reforecasting cycle, incorporating market trends, operational changes, and latest performance data to provide an accurate, forward-looking view of the P&L

Performance Analysis

• Oversee the production and distribution of the Group's financial performance, including weekly performance updates and periodic management accounts
• Translate complex financial data into clear, concise, and actionable commercial insights for senior management and non-finance stakeholders.

Business Partnering

• Act as the primary financial business partner to senior finance leaders providing support and guidance on business initiatives and performance
• Proactively challenge commercial and operational assumptions to ensure decisions align with the Group's objectives

Continuous Improvement

• Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, leveraging financial systems and reporting tools to enhance efficiency, automate manual tasks, and improve data integrity.
