Controls Software EngineerLocation: Sturmer / HaverhillWFH 1 day a weekWe are recruiting on behalf of a confidential engineering business for a Controls Software Engineer to deliver automation projects across pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and food & beverage sectors. This is a software-focused role within a stable, close-knit design team, offering long-term security and technical development.Controls Software EngineerKey Requirements:· 3+ years' experience in controls / automation software· Strong Siemens PLC experience (TIA Portal, S7-1200 / 1500) desirable· Allen Bradley ControlLogix desirable· HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or similar· Background in control systems or electrical controls· Able to work independently in a project-led environmentControls Software EngineerThe Role:· Develop and implement PLC software for automation projects· Support commissioning, testing, and fault-finding· Work closely with engineering and design teams· Support service engineers with

upgrades and customer queries· Occasional travel (c. 10-15 days per year)Controls Software EngineerPackage:· £35,000 - £45,000 (flexible for the right candidate)· Profit-related bonus scheme· Long-term role within a stable, low-turnover business
