Join Camlin's Security Team as a Cyber Security Placement Student and become part of a growing department where your ideas and skills matter. You'll work with experienced professionals, support critical security operations, and contribute to protecting the company from evolving cyber threats.

This isn't just shadowing-you'll be hands-on, working on everything from helpdesk queries to audit preparation, playing a key role in keeping Camlin's systems secure and resilient.

Your Responsibilities

• Support the InfoSec Officer during management reviews to ensure the effectiveness and continual improvement of information security.
• Assist internal auditors to make sure audits are objective, impartial, and insightful.
• Champion a continual improvement culture for Camlin's information security.
• Review and action information security tickets.
• Collaborate with IT and Software teams on ISMS-related initiatives.
• Respond to helpdesk queries with a problem-solving mindset.
• Ensure business policies, procedures, and processes are accurate and up to date.
• Communicate outstanding risks and asset-related actions to their owners.
• Conduct due diligence assessments on new suppliers and software solutions.

We're seeking an ambitious, detail-oriented student who's passionate about cyber security and excited to build their skills in a real-world environment.

You should be:

• Currently studying Cyber Security or a related field at college/university.
• Curious and willing to learn.
• Comfortable working collaboratively across teams.
• Capable of working independently when needed.
• Confident in communicating clearly with colleagues at all levels.
• Organised, thorough, and proactive.
