Security Architect

We are partnered with a leading software company, currently seeking an experienced Security Architect to join on a 6-month contract and support key infrastructure and security design initiatives., * Design and deliver secure infrastructure architectures across on-prem and enterprise environments

• Own security architecture across network, domain, and core infrastructure layers
• Apply secure-by-design and zero trust principles to infrastructure design
• Partner with infrastructure, engineering, and security teams to embed security controls early
• Review and assess existing infrastructure designs, identifying risks and remediation strategies
• Define security standards, patterns, and architectural guidance
• Support threat modelling, architecture reviews, and risk assessments
• Ensure alignment with organisational security policies and industry best practices

This role requires a hands on Security Architect with deep experience across on-prem and enterprise infrastructure, capable of designing and embedding security across complex networked environments using secure-by-design principles., * Proven experience working as a Security Architect within enterprise or software-led organisations

• Strong hands-on knowledge of on-prem infrastructure and network security
• Deep understanding of enterprise infrastructure design (network, identity, domain services)
• Demonstrable experience applying secure-by-design principles to infrastructure
• Ability to translate security requirements into practical, scalable architectures
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
