Requirements

Genuine consultancy experience A background in a consultancy, SI, or advisory environment, with experience shaping solutions, owning workstreams end to end, and working across multiple client engagements simultaneously.

Strong Data Governance & Data Management delivery Hands-on experience implementing governance frameworks, data ownership and stewardship models, and data quality practices - this is a delivery-focused role, not strategy-only.

Client-facing seniority Confidence running workshops, influencing senior stakeholders, and translating data governance into clear business outcomes as a trusted advisor.
Highly Desirable
- Exposure to HE data challenges such as student data, research data, regulatory reporting, and Legacy systems
- MDM or reference data exposure
- Experience with governance tools (eg Collibra, Informatica, Purview, SAP MDG, Datactics)
- Background in regulated or public sector environments
- Line management or mentoring experience
