SAP Product Lifecycle Management SI Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP PLMSI Consultant (Product Lifecycle Management - Systems Integration) with a strong background in manufacturing processes and Siemens Teamcenter integration. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, implementing, and supporting SAP PLM Systems Integration (PLMSI) solutions that enable seamless management of product lifecycle data across SAP and Teamcenter environments.

You will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and IT teams, ensuring accurate and reliable product data flows from design through to production. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of engineering systems, SAP, and business transformation.

Due to the nature of our clients, we can only consider UK Nationals, we are unable to consider dual nationals currently.

You will be working from home with occasional attendance at client meetings, as required. Also we would require flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or bank holidays on an adhoc basis, where project needs demand it.

What You'll Be Doing

Solution Design & Implementation

• Design, configure, and implement SAP PLMSI solutions to support manufacturing and engineering workflows.
• Integrate SAP PLM with Siemens Teamcenter, enabling reliable synchronization of BOMs, material masters, and product documentation.
• Support and enhance engineering change management processes, ensuring compliance and traceability throughout the product lifecycle.

Integration & Data Management

• Enable smooth, bidirectional data exchange between SAP and Teamcenter, including CAD data, BOM structures, and material information.
• Work with integration technologies and connectors such as SAP PLMSI interfaces, T4S / T4EA, or similar tools.
• Monitor data consistency across systems, proactively identifying and resolving integration or data-quality issues.

Business Process Optimization

• Partner with engineering and manufacturing stakeholders to understand current processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support digital thread initiatives, ensuring end-to-end product data traceability from design to manufacturing.

Support & Maintenance

• Provide ongoing support to internal teams, troubleshooting SAP PLMSI and Teamcenter integration issues and resolving interface errors.
• Assist with root-cause analysis and continuous improvement of integration solutions.

Documentation & Training

• Produce high-quality functional specifications, integration design documents, and user guides.
• Deliver training and knowledge-transfer sessions to engineering and manufacturing users.

Do you have experience in SAP S/4HANA?, Technical Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP PLM and PLMSI components.
• Proven experience integrating SAP with Siemens Teamcenter, using tools such as T4S / T4EA or equivalent.
• Good working knowledge of SAP ECC or S/4HANA, particularly manufacturing-related modules (MM, PP, QM).

Functional Knowledge

• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, BOM management, and engineering change control.
• Familiarity with CAD data management and document control concepts.

Experience

• Proven experience delivering and supporting SAP PLM / PLMSI solutions.
• Demonstrated success working on SAP-Teamcenter integration projects.

Soft Skills

• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical mindset with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
• Comfortable working collaboratively across technical and business teams.

Nice to Have

• SAP PLM certification.
• Experience in discrete manufacturing industries such as automotive, aerospace, or industrial machinery.
• Exposure to middleware or integration platforms used for PLM solutions.
