Job description

Lead Target Operating Model (TOM) requirements analysis for a large-scale cloud transformation programme

Define enterprise-level hybrid and multicloud architectures across cloud and on-premise platforms

Produce high-level architecture designs, component models, and technology roadmaps

Provide architectural oversight across cloud, infrastructure, and platform domains

Engage with senior stakeholders to ensure architectural alignment with strategic objectives

Requirements

Proven experience operating as an Enterprise Architect on complex transformation programmes

Strong background designing hybrid and multicloud architectures

Deep knowledge of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Experience with cloud-native, serverless, and managed services

Strong understanding of on-premises infrastructure (virtualisation, storage, networking)

Knowledge of automation and configuration tools (eg Ansible, Puppet, Chef)

Experience designing secure connectivity solutions (eg VPNs, Direct Connect, gateways)

Recent experience working on UK public sector or government contracts

5 years UK residency required

This is a remote-first role, with occasional on-site attendance for key programme and stakeholder meetings.

This role will lead architectural definition and Target Operating Model (TOM) design as part of a major move-to-cloud initiative.
