Job description

We are looking for an IT Manager to lead our UK-based IT & IS function. This is a pivotal role within the Business Systems group, responsible for delivering robust IT services, driving digital innovation, and aligning local operations with our European parent company's infrastructure and strategy., As IT Manager, you will lead a small, multi-site team supporting our UK operations. You'll be responsible for ensuring the integrity, security, and performance of our IT infrastructure, while also delivering strategic projects and supporting business transformation initiatives. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the UK and Europe, balancing hands-on technical leadership with strategic planning and team development.

On a day-to-day basis this is what you would be doing:

  • Lead the UK IT & IS support function, ensuring high availability of systems and services
  • Deliver UK and European IT projects on time and within budget
  • Manage telecommunications, network infrastructure, and hardware lifecycle
  • Oversee IT budgets, KPIs, and service level agreements
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and data protection standards
  • Act as the UK escalation point for ERP and Toyota Industries Group systems
  • Champion innovation through AI, RPA, and automation technologies
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners

Requirements

We are looking for somebody with proven experience as an IT Manager or senior IT Leader.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery experience
  • Hands-on technical knowledge of Microsoft environments, networking, and infrastructure
  • Experience with AI, RPA, and cybersecurity solutions
  • ERP support experience (preferably within a group or multinational structure)
  • Power BI Experience
  • Ability to travel occasionally to other UK and European sites
