Web Developer - Cambourne, Cambridgeshire

We are on the lookout for a skilled Web Developer to join our team. The individual will report to our Lead Web Developer and work closely with our project and design teams., * Build custom WordPress themes and plugins tailored to client needs.

• Convert designs into responsive, accessible WordPress websites.
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO.
• Manage all technical aspects of the CMS, including updates, backups, and security.
• Troubleshoot bugs and resolve compatibility issues across browsers and devices.
• Ensure best practices in UX, accessibility (WCAG), and responsive design.
• Assist with website migrations, hosting setup, and domain management as needed.
• Provide technical support and training to clients and internal team members.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging WordPress tools and technologies.

Do you have experience in WordPress?, * 3+ years of experience developing WordPress websites in an agency or in-house setting.

• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.
• Experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), custom post types, and theme development.
• Familiarity with page builders and when not to use them.
• Experience integrating APIs and third-party services.
