Senior AI Engineer

They are looking for a senior AI-focused engineer to act as a central force in shaping and executing their AI strategy, helping the organisation transition into a truly AI-enabled business.

You will own the delivery of production-grade AI systems end to end, from early experimentation through to live deployment, building personalised, automated, and scalable capabilities across a cloud-native environment using LLMs, agent-based systems, and retrieval techniques. The role involves close collaboration with product, engineering, and data teams, as well as mentoring and influencing best practices across the wider organisation.

• Experience as a computer science or software engineer
• Proficiency in Python
• Experience using machine learning and AI frameworks
• Worked with LLMs
• Solid understanding of data modelling, statistical methods, and experimental design
• Experience developing APIs and embedding models within production systems
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based AI infrastructure and modern LLMOps/MLOps workflows
• Demonstrated ability to balance speed of delivery with technical excellence
• Ability to collaborate effectively
• Ability to communicate effectively
