Job description
- Deliver a cross-asset analytics platform to empower front office Sales personnel with advanced tools.
- Engage directly with Sales users and senior stakeholders in Sales and Trading to define platform requirements and gather feedback.
- Report platform progress and strategic direction to senior management and propose improvements based on user feedback and market trends.
- Design system architecture and develop associated APIs for seamless integration.
- Hands-on development of both backend and frontend components, focusing on Python and React.
- Ensure platform alignment with strategic firm-wide initiatives by collaborating with partners across Technology teams.
Requirements
- PhD or Master's in a quantitative field (e.g., Applied Math, Computer Science, Stats).
- 8+ years of experience in front-office development, ideally in a major investment bank.
- Proven expertise in Python development and building APIs for commercial platforms.
- Experience designing and delivering analytics tools directly to Sales/Trading professionals.
- Strong stakeholder management experience and ability to engage with senior management.
