Cyber Security Engineer

• Collaborate with customer IT Security teams on their cyber security, cloud, and identity security requirements
• Help resolve security issues, maintain platform configurations, and support escalations to minimize customer's risk
• Help customer teams to develop procedures to manage security risk
• Create effective configurations within the customers identity security platform
• Effectively communicate security analysis results to business leaders and key personnel
• Report on identity program security status to operational customer teams

Do you have experience in Network security?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * High level of education, including literacy and numeracy

• University degree, preferred
• Accreditation covering IT Networking, internet protocols and TCP-IP traffic essential
• Accreditation covering security authentication mechanisms, 2FA, SSO, API Keys preferred, * Solid ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
• Experience of Alert / SIEM log traffic and analysis
• Experience of security event management, troubleshooting and problem solving
• Solid understanding of Application authentication
• Strong ability for building Azure and Active Directory Users and Groups
• Windows and MacOS knowledge and skills

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Healthy curiosity, will be a key advantage in this role
• Good MS Office skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Desire to learn and build a career
• Ability to work as part of a team and support fellow team members
• Responsible - ability to follow up on tasks to their successful resolution
• Experience managing SaaS platforms, preferred
• Previous experience working in an IT Security function or service desk environment, preferred
• Experience with IT Security (Anti-Virus, Firewalls, Content Control platforms) is a plus
• All other training required will be provided to the successful candidates, * Network Security: 2 years (preferred)

Pay: £26,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
