Full Stack Developer (Frontend Focus)

Due to increased demand from our client base of retailers and fashion brands, we are looking for talented developers to join the development team based in our Manchester office.

Working in our development team, you will be involved in maintaining, extending, and improving our frontend frameworks and infrastructure that are used across multiple digital customer experiences and sales channels. Our frameworks power the omni-channel experience of some of the leading high-street retailers both in the UK and internationally and are built to be resilient to large scale product launches.

You will have a collaborative attitude that embraces colleagues, clients and other vendors in order to deliver the very best retail experiences using leading technology.

Additional responsibilities:

• Software design, working with other teams to plan a solution
• Extend and improve our frontend frameworks
• To provide framework knowledge and technical expertise to the broader support teams

Do you have experience in OOP?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Solid knowledge of object oriented programming and design patterns (e.g. Typescript, Dart)

• Experience building apps with frontend frameworks, in particular Flutter and React
• Experience with automated testing and testing frameworks
• Adept at writing well documented, readable and maintainable code

Bonus Points for

• Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Computer Science
• Experience working in agile environments
• Experience developing for eCommerce platforms, such as Shopify
• Cloud computing services, e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure
• CI/CD Pipelines, e.g. Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins
• Using or building RESTful APIs
• Experience building, deploying, and managing microservices, using technologies such as NodeJS, Go, and Serverless

At One iota we build digital customer experiences for brands. A key part of the company is our MESH platform and set of microservices, which our frontends plug into via a RESTful API interface. We build interactive digital experiences using technology including touchscreens and cameras, and we're always trying out new technologies such as RFID, frameworks like Flutter, and exploring how we can build upon and improve our apps and services. We also build native apps, so we can connect the omnichannel customer journey, and a set of dashboards and tools our clients can use to manage these experiences. Our clients are leading retailers and brands, both in the UK and internationally, who we form close partnerships with.
