Senior Software Engineer (Front End)

I'm working with a global financial services technology organisation that builds high-volume, business-critical platforms used across international markets. They're looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer to help design and deliver modern, scalable user interfaces used by both internal teams and external clients.

This role suits someone who enjoys owning front-end delivery end to end, influencing UI standards, and working closely with backend engineers and architects in an Agile environment.

What you'll be doing:

• Building and maintaining modern web interfaces using React and TypeScript
• Working closely with architects and backend teams on end-to-end solutions
• Taking ownership of front-end delivery from design through to release
• Improving UI consistency, performance, and accessibility
• Driving automation and testing across front-end applications
• Mentoring engineers and contributing to knowledge sharing

• Strong experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Track record building scalable, maintainable front-end applications
• Experience delivering consistent UI across browsers
• Hands-on experience with front-end testing tools (Cypress, Selenium, etc.)
• Understanding of performance optimisation and web security
• Comfortable working across the full SDLC
