Job description
- Designing and implementing end-to-end Generative AI solutions, AI agents, and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines to address business challenges and opportunities
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, providing technical expertise, and delivering scalable and robust AI solutions
- Conducting research and evaluation of emerging AI models, agentic frameworks, and development kits
- Working independently on Proof of Concepts (PoC) to validate and showcase the feasibility of proposed solutions
- Conducting direct client communication to understand their needs and tailor AI-driven solutions accordingly
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Applied AI or Machine Learning in the industry
- Proficiency in building Generative AI and Agentic applications at scale, with expertise in using agentic frameworks, vector databases, grounding, and other relevant concepts
- Direct experience or strong familiarity with agent development (e.g. LangGraph, Google Agent Development Kit (ADK), Agno)
- Proven experience in research and evaluation of emerging AI technologies, models, and frameworks
- Extensive knowledge of Cloud AI offerings on one of the Hyperscalers (GCP, AWS or Azure), including ready-to-use AI services, AutoML approaches, and custom model development
- Strong and assertive communication skills
- Passion for keeping up with industry trends and advancements in Generative AI and agentic systems
Beneficial Skills
- Hands-on experience with the Google Cloud AI/ML stack (e.g., Vertex AI, Gemini Models, Vector Search)
- Experience with AI evaluation frameworks (e.g., RAGAs, LangSmith), writing integration tests, and establishing robust validation strategies for Generative AI and agentic applications
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes for MLOps/AIOps
- A/B testing expertise for AI models and applications

The actual salary depends on your qualifications and experience. What is also important to us is to pay our employees an internally comparable salary. For legal reasons, we need to disclose the minimum annual salary for full time employment as stated in the current collective IT agreement, which is 53.802,00 gross / year for this position.
