ICT Senior System Engineer (Tactical Communications)

• Engineering and co-development of the tactical communication solution - especially in the area of "Tactical Communications / TaCom"
• Participation in the creation of system architecture and concept documents (technical concepts, variant analyses)
• Close collaboration with software and hardware development teams (HW/SW) to further develop the products
• Setup and operation of demo setups as well as conducting feasibility studies, prototypes, and customer demonstrations
• Requirements engineering at system and component level (collection, analysis, specification, change management)
• Planning, execution, and documentation of system integrations - e.g., integration of heterogeneous communication and network systems
• Technical support for the Business Development and Sales units - e.g., technical clarification with customers, offer support

• Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field.
• Strong network and security expertise required.
• Proficient in Linux operations and configuration., * Completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, telecommunications, or a comparable technical field
• Experience in system engineering and architecture, ideally in a security-relevant environment
• Experience in requirements engineering and technical documentation
• Very good network and security knowledge
• Solid Linux knowledge (operation and configuration)
• Voice knowledge is an advantage
• Experience dealing with customers in the federal or defense environment is an advantage
• Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
• Independent, proactive, and solution-oriented personality with pronounced technical understanding and team spirit
