Senior SAP BTP Clean Core & Architecture Expert (all genders)

As a Senior SAP BTP Clean Core & Architecture Expert, you will shape the next generation of enterprise ERP landscapes by guiding organizations through clean core transformation on SAP's Business Technology Platform. You'll architect scalable, cloud-native solutions that preserve SAP S/4HANA integrity and upgradability while enabling rapid innovation through side-by-side extensibility. This strategic role bridges technical design with business outcomes, influences enterprise-wide architectural decisions, and drives collaboration across teams to modernize complex SAP ecosystems. Your work will help clients future-proof their platforms, reduce technical debt, and unlock continuous digital evolution.

• Lead and mentor Project teams to adopt clean core and modern development practices.
• Contribute to thought leadership through community content, architecture patterns, and innovation initiatives, * Lead and Architect SAP BTP solutions grounded in Clean Core principles, maximizing standard capabilities.
• Assess existing SAP landscapes and develop transformation roadmaps to cloud-native architectures.
• Define and govern integration patterns leveraging SAP Integration Suite, Event Mesh, and API Management, in collaboration with dedicated integration architects.
• Define extension strategies using CAP/RAP, SAPUI5/Fiori, Workflows, and Business Rules services.
• Provide technical leadership and governance to ensure adherence to Clean Core development standards.
• Collaborate with functional architects, developers, and stakeholders to align business needs with technical best practices.
• Conduct architecture and code reviews while mentoring teams on BTP technologies and patterns.
• Stay updated on SAP BTP roadmap and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
• Shape and govern RISE with SAP-based transformation roadmaps, including target architecture, system landscape design, and clean-core migration from ECC to SAP S/4HANA.

Do you have experience in SOAP?, * Extensive experience in SAP technical architecture and development

• Demonstrable years hands-on experience with SAP BTP
• Deep expertise in Clean Core principles, side-by-side extensibility, and RISE with SAP methodology
• Strong knowledge of SAP BTP services: Cloud Foundry, Kyma, Integration Suite, Extension Suite, BAS
• Proven experience building cloud-native extensions using CAP and/or RAP
• Familiarity with ABAP Cloud (Steampunk)
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and APIs (OData, REST, SOAP)
• Understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, Git, and containerization
• Excellent architectural design and documentation skills
• Clear communication and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Previous consulting or Client-facing experience

Nice to Have

• Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Consultant - SAP BTP)
• Experience with SAP Build (Low-Code/No-Code)
• Knowledge of SAP AI Core, Business AI, and Joule
• Multi-cloud exposure (Azure, AWS, GCP)
