Job description
Analytics Engineers at Aklamio take end-to-end ownership of analytical problems: from understanding business questions to delivering reliable dashboards and insights. For this role, the focus is clearly on BI, dashboards, analytics, and data modeling, with limited and supported exposure to data engineering. You will work in a collaborative data team with experienced Analytics Engineers, a Senior Data Engineer, and close interaction with business stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports in GoodData Cloud for internal users and embedded customer-facing analytics
- Translate Product and Revenue questions into clear analyses, metrics, and visualizations
- Work with a stable KPI framework, extend it where needed, and ensure metrics are correct and explainable
- Analyze marketing, sales, and revenue performance and communicate key drivers and insights
- Model analytics-ready datasets in Snowflake using dimensional modeling best practices
- Write high-quality SQL to transform, validate, and combine data for BI use cases
- Own analytics deliverables end-to-end once solution direction is defined collaboratively
- Make small, well-scoped adjustments to existing ETL/ELT pipelines when needed, with guidance from senior engineers
Requirements
Do you have experience in Swift?, We are open to mid-level and senior profiles. The level will be determined based on experience, ownership, and problem-solving maturity.
Required:
- 2+ years of experience in Analytics, BI, or Analytics Engineering
- Excellent SQL skills, ideally with hands-on experience in Snowflake
- Strong understanding of dimensional data modeling for analytics and dashboards
- Experience building dashboards and reports for business stakeholders
- Ability to clearly explain insights to non-technical audiences
- Experience working with revenue-, marketing-, or product-related data
- Curiosity, ownership mindset, and strong collaboration skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with GoodData Cloud or similar BI tools
- Basic Python skills for exploratory analysis
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT concepts (e.g. Airflow)
- Experience in SaaS or B2B environments
- Knowledge of Git and analytics engineering best practices

Our Interview Process
We follow a four-step interview process designed to be transparent and fair:

Initial Screening: Introductory call with our HR / Recruiting team to discuss your background, motivation, and expectations.

Technical Interview: In-depth discussion with two members of our Data team, covering the test assignment, analytics concepts, and technical decision-making.

Final Office Round: On-site meeting with the VP Engineering and cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Customer Success, Product) to assess collaboration, communication, and business impact.
