Job description

We're looking for a DevOps Engineer to take ownership of and scale our AWS infrastructure, streamline deployments, and ensure high availability and security across all systems. You'll work closely with our engineering teams to make the software delivery process fast, reliable, and cost-efficient - all powered by AWS and the AWS CDK., * Design, maintain, and enhance AWS infrastructure using AWS CDK (TypeScript/Python)

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, or similar)
  • Automate deployments, infrastructure provisioning, and operational workflows
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance using AWS-native tools (CloudWatch, X-Ray, etc.)
  • Implement logging, alerting, and observability best practices
  • Manage networking, security groups, IAM roles, and secrets securely
  • Drive AWS cost optimization and resource tagging strategies
  • Collaborate with developers to streamline the development-to-production process
  • Participate in on-call rotations and assist with incident resolution

Requirements

Do you have experience in TypeScript?, + 4+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or similar role

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, S3, CloudFront, etc.)

  • Proven experience using AWS CDK for Infrastructure as Code

  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, etc.)

  • Good scripting skills in TypeScript, Python, or Bash

  • Solid knowledge of Docker and container orchestration (ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes)

  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and AWS best practices

  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar) Nice to Have

  • Experience with AWS cost optimization and tagging strategies

  • Knowledge of serverless architectures (Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge)

  • Familiarity with compliance requirements (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR)
