The Role: As a Staff Product Designer - Design Ops, you will be a tactical and strategic leader in shaping the vision of the overall product experience of the Celonis platform.You will drive the design strategy for our expanding portfolio of tools, influencing product roadmaps and establishing design patterns and interactions across the Celonis ecosystem and beyond. You will guide the design of complex solutions that empower customers to leverage transformative business outcomes and establish platform-wide UX frameworks and interaction guidelines.You'll work closely with senior product & engineering leaders, and research teams to define the future of our enterprise software. Your expertise will be crucial in championing user-centered design principles, fostering innovation, and ensuring our products are not only intuitive and delightful but also ethically sound and strategically impactful. The work you'll do: As a Staff Product Designer - Design Ops, your responsibilities will encompass strategic design leadership, where you define and drive the overall design vision and strategy for our products. You'll engage in cross-functional collaboration and influence, working with senior product managers, engineering leaders, and data science teams to define product requirements and ensure design feasibility. Contributing significantly to the Celonis design system, you'll focus on components and patterns, establishing and maintaining design standards for interactions. You will mentor and guide designers, provide leadership on complex projects, and lead user research initiatives to understand complex user needs. Crucially, you will champion ethical considerations and accessible design, ensuring fairness, transparency, and explainability. Requirements

Do you have experience in Visual design?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, Systems, a proven track record of leading design strategy and principles. Expertise in interaction design, and visual design is essential, along with strong leadership and communication skills. You should be able to think strategically and translate complex concepts into clear design solutions, and possess a strong portfolio showcasing your experience. The qualifications you need: Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or strong background in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Information Design, Data Design, Communication Design, Engineering, Psychology, or a related field. Professional Experience: 8+ years of proven experience as a UX/UI Designer, collaborating within software development teams. A proven track record of successfully mentoring and leading design teams on complex l projects and driving organizational change. Domain Experience: Prior experience working in the B2B or enterprise software sector is essential for this role. A strong understanding of this field and its unique challenges is crucial for success. Skills: Highly skilled in interaction design, hands-on experience creating complex and interactive data visualizations that effectively communicate insights and drive data-informed decision-making. Skilled in applying usability principles and techniques through various stages of product development including requirements gathering, user journey mapping, creating lo-fi and hi-fi wireframes, prototyping, testing, and documentation. Adaptability: Comfortable driving clarity in ambiguous situations and thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Design System: Experience working with and contributing to Design Systems in Figma. User-centricity: Proven ability to champion user-centered design principles across teams, directly contributing to enhanced product usability.
