Job description

Act as a Senior SAP Consultant for Commercial Solutions, providing functional and technical expertise in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) processes

Consult and support end-to-end sales and distribution processes, from quotation to invoicing, ensuring effective and efficient IT solutions

Design, develop, maintain and optimize SAP Commercial solutions, ensuring alignment with agreed business requirements, quality standards and SLAs
-
Gather, analyze and manage business requirements, translating them into scalable SAP solutions

Manage stakeholders, technology and delivery activities to ensure successful execution of projects, changes, incident resolutions and other operations

Participate in international projects, collaborating with global teams and business users

Support problem analysis and resolution, including debugging using ABAP debugger when required

Maintain and continuously optimize existing IT solutions to ensure stability and performance

Ensure compliance tasks and relevant controls are properly implemented within the scope of the role

Create, maintain and review functional, technical and training documentation

Organize and deliver training sessions on current IT solutions for business users

Support supervisors in technical assessments, effort estimations and budgeting cycles
-
Collaborate actively with other IT streams and teams to ensure cross-functional alignment

Support and participate in the established HSEE decision bodies, when required

Take ownership within the defined scope of authority, acting autonomously within the assigned level of responsibility, * University Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field
Requirements
- More than 8 years of experience in SAP consulting, with strong focus on Sales & Distribution (SD) solutions
- Solid hands-on experience covering the full Order-to-Cash cycle (from quotation to invoicing)
- More than 5 years of experience in international projects
- Expert-level knowledge of SAP SD
- Proven experience in designing, developing and maintaining SAP commercial solutions in line with business requirements and SLAs
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, stakeholder management and solution delivery
- Strong problem-solving skills, including hands-on use of the ABAP debugger
- Experience operating in collaborative, customer-oriented environments
- Strong analytical and structured thinking, with a target-oriented mindset
- Ability to work under ambitious targets and tight timelines, managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written English
- Willingness to travel within the EMEA region
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience in other logistics processes, such as SAP MM and FI integration
- Previous experience supporting international or global rollouts
- Experience with ticketing tools (e.g. Remedy, ServiceNow)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Project, etc.)
- Experience creating and maintaining technical, functional and training documentation
- Experience organizing and delivering training sessions for business users
- Ability to support technical assessments, effort estimations and budgeting activities
- Experience collaborating across multiple IT streams or functional areas
- German language knowledge
- Spanish language knowledge
