Job description

Technical Drive Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Security Project Engineer to join our dynamic Cyber Security team. As an IT Security Project Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our customers security architecture. You will play a crucial role in identifying vulnerabilities, mitigating risks, and ensuring the protection of digital assets and information systems from unauthorized access and cyber threats., * Security Solution Implementation: Deploy and maintain security solutions such as antivirus, anti-spam, backup, device encryption, multifactor authentication, patching, security awareness training and firewall feature suites.

  • Escalation: Provide technical assistance for security issues escalated from other areas of the business.
  • Incident Response: Conduct incident investigations and respond to security threats in real-time.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for security policies, procedures, and incidents.
  • Security Audits: Perform security audits and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Security Training: Work with teams across the organisation to increase security awareness and promote best practices for data protection and incident handling.
  • Vulnerability Management: Conduct vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate risks.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, Experience of using the following solutions would strengthen your application: Acronis, Barracuda, Microsoft Defender, SentinelOne, KnowBe4, Entra ID and Sophos.

Requirements

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in a technical support role.

Technical Skills:

  • Experience supporting both Windows/Mac Desktop and Windows Server operating systems.
  • Knowledge of security solutions such as antivirus, anti-spam, backup, awareness training and Windows updates.
  • A good understanding of security best practices.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to stay updated on the latest Cyber Security trends and emerging threats.
