AI Software Engineer

We are now looking to hire a Mid-Level AI Software Engineer to work closely with our CTO, contributing directly to live client projects and internal AI platforms.

The Role

This is a hands-on engineering role ideal for a developer who already has solid experience shipping software and wants to deepen their expertise in AI-enabled systems.

You'll be working across backend services, AI integrations, and modern frontends - with exposure to architecture, cloud infrastructure, and production LLM workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Python-based backend services

• Develop AI-powered features using OpenAI and other GenAI technologies

• Contribute to cloud infrastructure on AWS (using CDK)

• Work on modern frontends using React and Flutter

• Collaborate closely with the CTO on system design and technical decisions

Do you have experience in Rust (programming language)?, * Commercial experience with Python

• Experience building applications using React and/or Flutter

• Familiarity with AWS (hands-on experience preferred)

• Strong understanding of Git / GitHub workflows

• Exposure to Generative AI (OpenAI APIs, prompt engineering, or model fine-tuning)

• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, delivery-focused environment

Nice to Have

• Experience using AWS CDK

• Knowledge of Rust (particularly for performance-critical or AI-related workloads)

• Experience training, fine-tuning, or deploying ML/AI models

• Prior experience working on AI-enabled or data-heavy systems

Location & Working Style

• Manchester-based preferred, * Your experience with Python and cloud systems

• Any exposure to AI or GenAI projects

• Regular collaboration with the CTO and engineering leadership
