Job description
- Incident Response & Investigation.
- Threat detection & tracking.
- Design, implement, test, and maintain cyber security systems
- Examine IT systems for potential threats and develop response plans
- Develop and execute test plans for security systems
- Monitor systems for anomalies and potential security incidents.
- Investigate and report security breaches
- Administer Azure and Entra ID
- Give solutions to how to secure 365 system.
- Manage Bitdefender Gravity (Performs Regular Scans and Create Policies)
- Monitor and respond to security events using Microsoft 365 Defender portal, maintaining audit logs for compliance and incident investigation
- Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in TCP/IP?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Full UK driving licence, car, and insurance (optional)
- Minimum 2-3 years' IT experience or Master's in computer science or AI
- Strong organisational skills and reliability
- Intune device management and conditional access policies
- Desktop and server support
- Installation and configuration of laptops, desktops, and authorised software
- Antivirus installation and maintenance
- Bitdefender Monitoring
- Cyber Security Frameworks: Cyber Essentials
- Master TCP/IP, network protocols, Windows/Linux OS, firewalls, IDS/IPS.
- Get familiar with Wireshark, Nmap, Python/Bash scripting, and EDR solutions.
- Security+ (CompTIA), CyberOps Associate (Cisco), or AZ-900/SC-200 (Microsoft) are beneficial.
- Graduate schemes, apprenticeships (L4 Cyber Technologist), or even contacting companies directly for shadowing.
- Background in IT support, helpdesk, or any role involving security operations helps.
- Incident Response & Investigation., * Penetration Testing Tools: Kali Linux, Metasploit, Burp Suite
- Cloud Security: Azure, MFA, Conditional Access
- Networking: Firewalls, VPNs,
- Bitdefender Monitoring
- LLM security, AI output validation, and ethical AI implementation
- Machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) for anomaly detection and behavioral analytics
- Python/R programming for AI/ML security applications and threat detection
- Experience in Digital Marketing and Graphic Design is considered an advantage.
- ITIL Framework Certification.

This is an exciting opportunity to work across 1st to 3rd line roles and implement, test and maintain cyber security systems and track, investigate and analyse data linked to cybercrime. examines IT system for potential threats to its security and integrity and draws up response plans for situations where security is compromised, develops test plans for security systems and undertakes and documents the testing of security systems weaknesses and errors, identifies source of problems and proposes solutions, develops quality standards and validation techniques, makes recommendations concerning software/system quality, deals with and reports on breaches in security, uses specialist software to gather and analyse information and evidence relating to
