Job description
We're seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to significantly contribute to our DevOps efforts. In this role, you'll lead smaller projects, guide junior engineers, and shape our technical direction in DevOps practices. You will also actively participate in the entire DevOps lifecycle, focusing on automating and streamlining software delivery pipelines using modern DevOps tools and methodologies.
Responsibilities

Design build and manage cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) using Terraform and Ansible.

Develop and deploy scalable and secure applications using NodeJS ReactJS and RESTful APIs. Ensure seamless integration with Elasticsearch and Apache NiFi.

Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins Kubernetes and OpenShift to automate testing building and deployment of applications.

Implement containerization using Docker Podman and Buildah and orchestration using Kubernetes and OpenShift.

Understand and implement security best practices in accordance with DevOps principles.
Requirements

Proven experience in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline development.

Strong scripting and programming skills (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell).

Exposure to containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Excellent knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).

Experience with detecting and resolving security vulnerabilities

Preferred technical and professional experience

Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI).

Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).

Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).

Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK Stack, Datadog).

Your role and responsibilities
