Azure Cloud Architect - Data Platform

You will work on the client's core data platform, designing cloud architectures that enable multiple teams to build and scale solutions in a global, cloud-native environment., * Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into robust cloud architectures that serve as the foundation for multiple development teams

• Design, implement, and configure Azure cloud services and resources
• Manage and optimize existing cloud environments, including monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and automation
• Ensure compliance with cloud security, governance, and best practices
• Collaborate closely with other cloud architects, developers, and platform engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions
• Contribute to architectural decisions and continuously stay up to date with cloud and data platform trends

• 4+ years of experience in Cloud Solution Architecture, with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure
• Solid understanding of cloud concepts: IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, microservices, serverless architectures
• Hands-on experience with Azure services (experience with Databricks is a strong plus)
• Strong background in Kubernetes and container orchestration (AKS, Docker, Helm)
• Ability to design end-to-end solutions using Azure and Kubernetes components
• Programming and scripting skills (e.g. Python; Pulumi is a plus)
• Kafka knowledge is highly valued
• Creative thinker with a strong problem-solving mindset
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in distributed teams
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills

Location: 100% Remote

Schedule: Flexible, with reduced hours on Fridays
