Job description
We're looking for a backend-focused software engineer with blockchain experience to help build and scale next-generation payments infrastructure. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to work close to the product, touch real users, and ship systems that operate at serious scale.
Location
- Strong preference for New York City
- Open to remote (US or global) for exceptional candidates with strong experience and solid tenure
What You'll Be Doing
- Play a key role in shaping the technical and product roadmap
- Build and scale backend services that interact with blockchain infrastructure
- Work directly with smart contracts across multiple chains
- Develop and support new smart contracts and blockchain integrations
- Help scale on-chain infrastructure to millions of users globally
- Ship new features quickly in a fast-moving environment
- Influence architectural decisions in a rapidly evolving product

Requirements
Do you have experience in Node.js?, * 2-10+ years of professional engineering experience
- Strong experience with Node.js and modern backend technologies
- Hands-on experience interacting with blockchains and smart contracts
- A backend engineer with real blockchain exposure (not just interest)
- Crypto-curious at minimum - crypto-native is a plus
- Comfortable working in lean, fast-paced teams
Nice to have (not required):
- Fintech experience (neobanks, card issuing, payments infrastructure)
