Job description

The team focuses on a specific part of the organisation. This involves specialist machines that are used for research. They use various Linux distributions, such as CentOS and Redhat. In addition, a lot of scripting is automated and various clusters and storage systems are used. The specifications come from the researchers and it is up to you to set up a suitable system for this!   • You are responsible for various requests and customised solutions;
  • You automate your management activities as much as possible;
  • You draw up authorisation and security procedures;
  • You investigate and resolve incidents;

Requirements

  • Hbo working and thinking level;
  • At least 2 years' working experience as a DevOps engineer;
  • Knowledge of Ansible, Bash or Python;
  • Knowledge of clustering (SLURM) and storage (Ceph);
  • You are eager to learn and have strong communication skills;
  • You have a passion for technology and love to pioneer.
