Job description
We're looking for a DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer to join a small, collaborative DevOps infrastructure team that sits within a wider technical Defence organisation. This is a hands-on infrastructure support role, ideal for someone who enjoys working across both Linux and Windows environments in a steady, well-structured setting.
This is not a highly complex role, and a defence background is not required.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing day-to-day infrastructure support
- Working across Linux and Windows systems
- Supporting and maintaining virtualised environments
- Collaborating with DevOps and wider technical teams
- Using DevOps tools to support delivery, documentation, and workflows
Requirements
- Experience as an Infrastructure Engineer in a corporate or DevOps environment
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows and Linux
- Experience with virtualisation technologies, such as:
- VMWare
- Nutanix
Working knowledge of DevOps tools including:
- Git
- Jira
- Confluence
- Jenkins
- Artifactory
Nice to Have
- Exposure to or interest in cyber security within an infrastructure or DevOps setting
