Senior Software Developer - Digital Health & Biofeedback Platforms

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Developer to lead the design and development of a next-generation remote medical and biofeedback platform.

This role combines full-stack software engineering, mobile development, and technical leadership, working at the intersection of medical devices, physiology, and real-time data platforms.

You will help build systems that connect wearable and medical sensors to cloud platforms, delivering real-time feedback, analytics, and therapeutic tools to clinicians and patients worldwide., Software Architecture & Development

• Design and develop scalable web and mobile applications using React, iOS, and Android.
• Build secure real-time data pipelines using Firebase and cloud services.
• Integrate medical devices, wearables, and biofeedback sensors into digital platforms.
• Implement remote monitoring, dashboards, and data visualization tools.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and data security for medical-grade systems.

Platform & Product Leadership

• Lead the technical architecture for a remote digital health platform.
• Translate clinical and physiological requirements into robust software systems.
• Collaborate with clinicians, researchers, and product teams to shape features and workflows.
• Drive best practices in software quality, testing, and documentation.

Project Management & Team Leadership

• Plan, manage, and deliver projects using Agile or similar methodologies.
• Coordinate developers, designers, and clinical stakeholders.
• Manage timelines, milestones, and technical risks.
• Mentor junior developers and review code for quality and performance.

Teaching & Knowledge Transfer

• Provide training and guidance to developers and clinical staff.
• Document systems and create onboarding and technical learning materials.
• Act as a bridge between technical teams and non-technical users.

Required Technical Skills

• Frontend: React, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
• Mobile: iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin or Java)
• Backend & Cloud: Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Realtime DB, Functions)
• APIs: RESTful services, real-time data streaming
• Security: User authentication, HIPAA/GDPR-style data protection
• Version Control: Git
• CI/CD & Deployment
