Job description
- Overall responsibility for the planning, management and implementation of demanding end-to-end IT and infrastructure projects
- Central leadership role in communication between customers, internal technical teams and management
- Organisation of workflows as well as coordination and motivation of interdisciplinary project teams from networking, software, platform, engineering and operations
- Responsible management of schedules, budgets, resources and project goals - from conception to go-live
- Active stakeholder and customer management, including requirements gathering, coordination and escalation management
- Ensuring quality, documentation, transparency and sustainable project handover to operations
- Close collaboration with IT operations, product development and engineering in highly critical environments
Requirements
- Strong communication skills with persuasiveness, extremely high customer focus, confident manner - even in highly critical project situations
- Strong organisational skills, strong ability to prioritise complex tasks and manage parallel projects in a structured manner
- Several years of professional experience in IT project management, ideally in infrastructure, network or carrier-oriented platform projects
- Very strong leadership personality with persuasiveness and assertiveness, decision-making ability and sense of responsibility
- Good, strong technical understanding of:
- Development of IT architectures with scaling strategies
- Network technology and administration (Linux, Docker, network software)
- IT security infrastructures, monitoring, routing & switching, WiFi
- Structured approach to work and ability to clearly prioritise complex issues
- High level of competence in analysis, troubleshooting and stable operational management, * Experience with classic or hybrid project management methods
- Practical experience/certification in service management (ITSM)
