Simulation DevOps Engineer for Airbus

• Define and develop DevOps solutions and tools for our IT Infrastructure as well as various Software
• Development Environments
• Setup and maintain Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) Pipelines
• Consult and support our various software development teams to boost their development processes and operations to higher efficiency by applying CI/CD principles and means
• Continuously revise and improve the capabilities and reliability of the department-owned as well as corporate-managed IT infrastructure with a focus on DevOps Tooling

Do you have experience in Terraform?, * Completed studies in the field of computer science or a comparable qualification

• At least 5 years of professional experience in DevOps and CI/CD Automation Development are required
• Additional experience with modern Software Development and/or the operation and design of Enterprise-level IT Infrastructure and Tools applying IaC pricniples is mandatory
• Expertise in several related fields (e.g. automation, deployment, containers, virtualization, distributed storage ...) is needed
• Experience with dynamic Povisioning and Immutable Systems would be a plus
• Solid Multi-Distro Linux Skills are necessary
• Experience in one or more Scripting / programming languages (Python, Ansible, Bash, C++, Go...)have to be present
• Ideally experience in related technologies:

• Continuous Integration (mainly Jenkins, gitlab)
• Version Control and Artefact Management (Git, Nexus, Artifactory)
• Infrastructure provisioning and Continious Deployment (Ansible, Puppet, OPSI, conan)
• The Hashicorp Toolstack (Terraform, Packer, Vault)
• Virtualization (Proxmox, KVM)
• Container based Infrastucture (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Storage Solutions (Ceph, ZFS, Samba)

• Fluent in German
• Proficient english skills
