Job description

Windows Administration Expert

You will be responsible for administering and optimizing Windows-based systems and services, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. Hybrid work model

2 days in the office and 3 days remote. Availability

Participation in 24x7 on-call rotations. Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022) and related services.
  • Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and user access controls.
  • Ensure system security, patching, and compliance with best practices.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain operational stability.
  • Act as a point of contact for escalations and ensure timely resolution of incidents.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for configurations, processes, and changes.
  • Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders to support business needs.

Requirements

4-6 years in Windows systems administration and infrastructure management. Expert knowledge of

  • Windows Server administration
  • Active Directory and related services

Preferred

  • Experience with virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware)
  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals and security best practices
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Languages Required

  • Spanish
  • Intermediate English
  • Catalan

Education

  • Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Preferred: Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, ITIL Foundation.
