Senior Python Developer - Daily Rate Contracts - Start February / March 2026
Stelfox have partnered with a global fintech organisation looking for x5 Senior Developer's to join their team to work on both existing and greenfield projects. The Senior Python Developer's will be responsible for designing and developing web-based Python solutions to help solve complex business problems.
Working as part of global teams, the company leverages a wide range of technologies. They work in an Agile fashion and are always striving to improve their processes, putting a big emphasis on researching new technologies. This is a great opportunity for the right developer's to accelerate their career within a rapidly expanding team.
This client offers 6 month rolling / long term contracts and contractors must be based in Ireland for the duration of the contract.
Hybrid-Working Model - 3 days' on-site and 2 remote per week.
Requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of Python.
- Strong relational database/SQL experience.
- CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Experience with larger applications using microservices and containers.
- Strong Linux/UNIX expertise.
- Background building RESTful web APIs using Python frameworks such as Flask, Django.
- ORMs (object relational mappers) like SQLAlchemy.
