Job description

Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure.

Ensure compliance with security best practices, IAM policies, and regulatory standards.

Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Collaborate with development and operations teams to support cloud-native applications.
-
Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues.
-
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers on AWS best practices.

Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar tools.
-
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS Code Pipeline, Jenkins, or equivalent tools.

Collaborate with the AWS Cloud Network Architect to support/validate the LLD

Provision all AWS infrastructure as defined in the LLDs:
-
AWS Accounts, VPCs, subnets, route tables, SGs, NACLs.

Amazon EKS cluster for Solace
-
Deployment of Solace onto the EKS cluster.
-
Amazon EC2 instances for AVEVA PI across tiers.
-
Configure all AWS network connectivity components (TGW, etc.) in line with the design.

Perform connectivity testing to the integration endpoints.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with at least 5 years focused on AWS.
- Strong expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, TransitGw etc.).
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, ECS, EKS).
- Hands-on experience with Autoscaling, Load Balancer, Route53, ElascticBeanstalk.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
