Job description
We're looking for a real-world problem solver with the tech skills and curiosity to turn big ideas into working solutions. As an Associate Application Developer, you'll help design, build, and integrate applications using modern tools and emerging technologies. You'll be part of agile teams, working with clients to turn system requirements into scalable, impactful solutions.
What You'll Work on as an Associate Application Developer:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements

Turn these requirements into solution designs, documenting system architecture and key design decisions

Design, develop, and integrate application components across the full stack (backend, frontend, databases)

Write clean, maintainable, reusable code and ensure overall code quality while working with a broad ecosystem of cloud technologies and software frameworks

Contribute to code reviews, troubleshooting, automation, and performance tuning

Identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and other technical problems

Support Technical Consultants and provide technical guidance to teammates
Requirements

Experience with at least one programming language (such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar)

Understanding of application development concepts across frontend or backend

Familiarity with development using software frameworks, developing or integrating with APIs, using databases and version control

Exposure to Agile ways of working

Ability to troubleshoot issues and learn new technologies quickly

Basic understanding of cloud, containerisation, and CI/CD is beneficial

Knowledge of automated/unit testing

Required Education Qualifications
Predicted a 2:1 Bachelor's Degree or achieved in a STEM, Economics, Statistical degree or similar.
