Senior Backend Developer

We're looking for an experienced Software Engineer (m/f/d) who not only writes excellent code but also contributes actively to the technical evolution of our platform backend. In this role, you'll develop scalable applications, optimize our existing architecture, and ensure our systems are reliable, high-performing, and built for the future.

You'll work closely with software architects, QA engineers, product owners, and fellow developers-actively participating in code reviews, pair programming, and key technical decisions. Your mission

• Build scalable software solutions that support our business processes and drive the continuous development of our platform.
• Be a mentor for code quality: Advocate for clean code, automated testing, and a modern CI/CD environment-while actively promoting knowledge sharing within the team.
• Make architectural decisions in collaboration with our software architects and contribute to sustainable technical solutions within cross-functional teams.
• Optimize performance and system stability by proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks, security risks, and potential system failures.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, QA engineers, and other developers to efficiently deliver high-quality features.

Do you have experience in Scrum?, * A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field-or equivalent professional experience.

• Several years of experience with modern programming languages like C#, frameworks like .NET and software architectures, especially microservices
• A strong grasp of architecture principles, performance optimization, and secure scalability.
• Solid knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills-you structure complex problems, document clearly, and confidently share your knowledge in both English and German.
• You enjoy working independently, but also thrive in collaborative environments and team success.
