- Lead the automation strategy and roadmap, aligning with development and delivery pipelines
- Architect and implement scalable BDD automation frameworks using Cucumber and open-source tools
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for UI (Playwright/Selenium), API and end-to-end scenarios
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and manage test execution in version-controlled repositories
- Create and maintain test documentation: strategies, plans, cases, reports and metrics for stakeholders
- Mentor and coach QA engineers on automation best practices, code reviews and framework usage
- Collaborate with developers, product owners and DevOps to improve testability, reliability and delivery velocity
- Monitor test results, triage failures, report defects and support root-cause analysis

Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in test automation and framework implementation.
- Hands on experience with Selenium and Playwright.
- Strong hands-on experience in RESTful API testing and automation, particularly using Postman, including: designing and executing automated API test collections, using Postman scripts and Newman for CI/CD execution, validating RESTful endpoints, status codes, payloads, and performance.
- Deep understanding of API design principles and experience testing RESTful services integrated with front-end and back-end systems.
- Experience designing automation frameworks using open-source technologies aligned to the development tech stack
- Solid experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins) and version control (Bitbucket/Git)
- Working knowledge of SQL for test data and validation
- Experience writing test strategy, test plans, test cases and defect reporting processes
- Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and using Jira
- Excellent analytical skills, communication and ability to coordinate test governance across multiple teams
- Domain knowledge in HR, Time & Payroll is a plus
- Hybrid setting in Barcelona.
- English fluency (written and spoken).
