Job description
The Windows Client Engineer supports the design, implementation, and ongoing management of a secure, modern Windows client environment. The role focuses on endpoint management, application lifecycle, cloud migration, and 3rd-level support, ensuring high performance, security, and an excellent user experience., * Design, implement, and maintain the Windows endpoint platform
- Manage and optimise the client desktop experience
- Provide 3rd-level support for Windows clients and core applications (e.g. Microsoft 365, Adobe)
- Ensure secure and compliant endpoint posture
- Manage Intune-based Windows and mobile device environments
- Support adoption and operation of Microsoft cloud services
- Participate in incident, change, and on-call support (5-6 week rotation)
Requirements
- ~7 years' experience as a Senior Systems / 3rd-Level Support Engineer
- Strong expertise in Windows client environments and Microsoft technologies (Intune, SCCM, Microsoft 365, Entra ID)
- In-depth knowledge of Intune, Autopilot, Conditional Access, MAM, and application lifecycle management
- Experience with technical documentation, standards, and procedures
- Background in highly regulated environments (Finance or Pharmaceuticals preferred)
- Proven experience delivering large-scale desktop solutions and 3rd-level support
