The IT Support team is the reliable first point of contact for any hardware, software, and media related issues at trivago. We ensure that our colleagues have seamless access to the tools and infrastructure they need to do their best work. As an IT Support & Media Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining our technical ecosystem while bringing specialized audio-visual expertise to high-stakes events, leadership meetings, and daily operations. In this role, you'll combine hands-on IT support with media technology management. Join us and help create exceptional technical experiences for the trivago team!, * Serve as the first point of contact for IT and internal communication tools, resolving hardware, software, and audio-visual issues across simple to intermediate complexity levels
- Maintain and optimize the media infrastructure in the event spaces-including audio signal flow, mixing consoles and microphone systems
- Ensure flawless technical execution for high-profile events including leadership team meetings and company-wide gatherings
- Troubleshoot audio and video systems including speaker placement, PA coverage, audio networking, video switching/streaming, and camera operation for various event formats
- Manage the full lifecycle of IT hardware for newcomers and leavers, including preparation, software installation, inventory maintenance, and responsible e-waste handling
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and networking teams to resolve advanced support issues
Requirements
Do you have experience in Leadership?, * Comprehensive live audio expertise: end-to-end signal flow and console operation (digital/analog), gain/EQ/dynamics, mic selection/placement, RF coordination (frequency/antennas/interference), feedback prevention, PA coverage, DSP/loudspeaker management, audio networking, and fast, well-documented troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to think fast and independently resolve technical challenges on the spot, especially under pressure during company-wide streaming events.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative approach to sharing knowledge, training colleagues, and contributing ideas for continuous improvement
- Availability to work on-campus full-time (from Monday to Friday) to provide immediate, hands-on technical and media support,
- Flexibility to work outside regular hours for special events based on company demand.
