Job description
As Product Manager - Platform (m/f/d), you own the internal developer platform as a product, with a clear focus on improving developer experience, delivery speed, and reliability. You treat internal engineers as customers and make deliberate trade-offs between flexibility, standardization, and cognitive load. Working closely with Platform and Product Engineering teams, you define the platform vision and roadmap, ensure strong adoption through trust and reliability, and focus relentlessly on measurable developers' productivity and satisfaction increase.
About your tasks:
- Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the internal developer platform, including CI/CD, golden paths, developer tooling, internal APIs, templates, observability hooks, and cloud abstractions.
- Apply customer centric product management practices like continuous discovery, behavioral analysis and opportunity solution trees to enrich and prioritize Platform roadmap.
- Define, track, and act on DevEx metrics such as lead time, deployment frequency, onboarding time, pipeline reliability, and cognitive load signals. Prioritize initiatives that improve flow, safety, and team autonomy.
- Drive the creation and evolution of golden paths covering 70-80% of common use cases.
- Ensure defaults are secure, observable, cost-aware, and production-ready.
- Own the platform adoption strategy, including discoverability, documentation, enablement, and migration paths.
- You are accountable for platform-level decisions that optimize end-to-end system throughput over local team optimization. This includes defining standards, setting defaults, approving or rejecting exceptions and driving deprecation decisions in alignment with engineering leadership.
- Partner daily with Product and Platform Engineering teams.
- Translate platform capabilities into clear, compelling narratives engineers actually care about., In order to provide our employees with the best possible support for their individual needs, we offer a wide range of benefits:
