Job description
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be an integral part of an existing team comprising six DevOps professionals. You will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, which serves over 1800+ client companies, with 2.5+ million registered users and 30,000 daily active users. You will collaborate closely with all engineering squads including Development, Architecture, AI, and Data teams, to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of our SaaS product. Your expertise will be crucial in driving continuous improvement and fostering innovation within our DevOps practices. You will be responsible for building and maintaining a scalable infrastructure (accommodating more developers, more customers, and expansion into more countries) while optimizing resources (monitoring costs, reducing toil, and improving time to market) to support our growing activities.

Our Technical Stack Cloud: Azure Cloud Container orchestration: k8s, ArgoCD Infra as Code: Terraform, Ansible Monitoring tool: Datadog Database: MongoDB Application language: Javascript, + Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform, Ansible and Helm
- Automate the deployment of applications, configurations and infrastructure to achieve a high level of flexibility and confidence in production setups and deployment processes
- Improve our global security, challenge our worldwide scaling, increase our performance, + Collaborate with other squads to implement and improve our DevOps practices
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to improve system stability and availability
- Manage and maintain our Azure cloud infrastructure
- Ensure the security and compliance of our systems and data
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support
- Manage incidents and post-mortem
- Work closely with developers to facilitate their daily tasks, help them conform to best practices and ensure environments meet requirements (e.g.: simplify and automate the deployment process, provide metrics and monitoring to the engineering squads)
- Improve monitoring and load testing to secure and enhance the performance of our infrastructure, + Actively participate in DevOps decisions for all critical projects related to our platform's performance and reliability
- Evangelize and train our R&D team on Devops culture by defining all best practices
Requirements
Do you have experience in Terraform?, + 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Ideally, you have worked in a tech or a SaaS company
- You know how to run systems in production
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Clear understanding of networking, security, and system administration
- You have a coding background (scripting, programming)
- Passion for automation and continuous improvement
- Working proficiency in English and French (level B2 or equivalent)
