The Technology Resilience Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of technology resilience initiatives. Acting as a subject matter expert, the Analyst provides insights and recommendations to ensure the organization's IT systems remain robust, recoverable, and aligned with business continuity objectives. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver resilience programs that minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity. The role is based in Paris and with influence with resources mainly based in London and Bucharest. The role reports to the Incidents and Technology Resilience Manager of LCH SA. The regulated nature of LCH SA and the additional oversight and governance that this brings will give the successful candidates a unique opportunity to work within an organisation that is Critical Financial Markets Infrastructure and systemically important to the clearing requirements of our European members. The successful candidate will focus on transversal projects and have a multifaceted role that requires a deep understanding of our core business and the ability to lead cross technical and functional initiatives. Main Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining and improving technology resilience processes, including disaster recovery and business continuity activities.
- Support testing and documentation of recovery plans under guidance from senior team members.
- Help monitor system health and alerts, escalating issues promptly to the appropriate teams.
- Contribute to risk assessments by gathering data and preparing reports for review.
- Participate in resilience drills and simulations, ensuring observations are captured for improvement.
- Provide administrative and coordination support for resilience initiatives, including scheduling and tracking actions.
- Collaborate with IT teams to learn and apply best practices for fault tolerance and high availability.
- Execute defined IT controls within Incident, Change and Problem Management (e.g., checklist execution, evidence collection, control attestation, and follow-up on remediation actions) under senior guidance.
- Support the Change Management "gatekeeper" function by preparing pre-CAB checks, validating required artefacts (risk/impact, backout, test evidence), and escalating gaps to senior reviewers; able to animate short review huddles to keep changes on track.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Incident management?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: over 3 years in IT operations, incident management, or technology support (internships or academic projects acceptable).
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud concepts, and cybersecurity principles.
- Familiarity with IT Service Management processes (e.g., incident, change, problem management).
- Strong organisational skills and ability to follow structured processes.
- Good communication skills to interact with technical teams and document findings clearly.
- Proactive and eager to learn, with a positive attitude and ability to work under guidance.
