Job description
This is a hybrid working role requiring you to be within a commutable distance of our offices in Brighton. You will work 2 days per week in the office and 3 days at home., * Review and analyse requirements to design comprehensive and effective test strategies.
- Create, execute, and document detailed test cases for web-based platforms.
- Accurately log, track, and help resolve defects and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and users to ensure smooth and high-quality releases.
- Proactively suggest process improvements and opportunities to enhance service quality.
- Ensure adherence to established methodologies, standards, and best practices.
- Participate in regression, integration, and user acceptance testing as needed.
Requirements
We are looking for a proactive and motivated individual with proven experience in web application testing, eager to further develop their skills and contribute to a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for quality, and a willingness to engage with both technical and business stakeholders., * Demonstrable experience in testing web-based applications and platforms.
- Ability to translate technical and business requirements into effective test cases and scenarios.
- Confident communicator, able to liaise effectively with business users, analysts, and developers.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, development environment.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with cloud-based and serverless technologies.
- Experience using JIRA or similar tools for test and bug tracking.
- Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing.
- Performance and penetration testing experience.
